For this project, I was tasked with designing a mural to represent our college town, Ames, for the city's history museum. I titled the mural Roots & Horizons as an homage to Ames' historic roots and its bright future on the horizon. My approach highlighted the evolution of Ames by showcasing its past, present, and future. I illustrated elements such as agriculture, wildlife, structures, and transportation in my unique style, celebrating the city's progression from its natural beauty to its human-made developments. Additionally, I created mockups of the mural on the Ames History Museum and demonstrated the elevations to provide a clear visual representation of the final design.
